2/13/2024 0 Comments Risk of rain 1 endingSuch as replacing your eye with the magma worm's due to a conflict between the multiple eyes and lack of connections, the damned and impractical voodoo doll, the jar of souls which is recorded simply as wailing and crying, the various parasites you use, the various surgical augmentations, and the rest of the items that corrupt you in some way. This also infers that upon each character using certain objects, mostly. Second, EVEN IF YOU COMPLETE THE GAME WITHOUT ANY ITEMS :!Spoilers Incoming!: it gets more relevant to the characters, starting from the commando being the chronologically first to escape, meaning that the other survivors remained in the pod (judging by the character select) or were in the same pod, but crashes across the planet in a requirement to escape the planet. Regardless, you've changed for the worse and I don't think they had done these endings if they weren't important and relevant to the story.Įxerpt from my own "COLLECTIVE" of knowledge in production right now,- only a logical connection can be made most times, and in that case it is most often right until a twist in the story happens- this is me saying that, referring to this game, THE VARIOUS TELE PORTERS WERE HOW PROVIDENCE GOT ONBOARD, AS HE KNOWS HOW TO USE THEM MOST LIKELY. Probably because you've killed the alien's last hope and paved the way for further exploitation. We can assume that this has been going on for quite some time and that the logs were made way before Providence appears, who is probably some sort of hero/guardian/protector trying to stop you and your evil partners in crime.Įvery ending I've seen implies or flat-out states that you've lost your soul/humanity after making it out alive. I'm actually pretty damn sure that you're the bad guy, exploiting the planet's inhabitants and shipping them (and other cargo) to various locations for profit. Originally posted by Tripoteur Ventripotent:Apparently there were creatures from that particular planet captive aboard your ship, so it's possible you're actually a villain and he's the good guy.Įither that or he's a moron and thinks you're evil even though you were just defending yourself trying to leave the planet alive. ![]() The last theory I have is that his nickname is an ironic one and that he's the reason all the creatures attack you on sight, using the "weak" as his shield, or bulwark, and this meaning could explain why all the creatures suddenly vanish and stop attacking you when he has to fight you himself. ![]() The second meaning could be a subtle joke at how he really isn't all that tough if you know what to do, and how his shield move is defending a "weakling" which would be a pretty harsh stealth insult on him. ![]() Another theory I have is that his title of "Bulwark of the Weak" means one of three things, the first is that it means exactly what it says and that he really is a protector or shield to those that can't defend themselves without some help from another. I think it's possible that we were just guards for the delivery service in case pirates attacked (Barring HAN-D who's a janitor robot and Acrid who was in the cargo.) and that Providence assumed we knew what was really going on with the cargo and shot the messengers instead of his real targets.
